About the Artist
Landscape painter Daniel Wise evokes memories and feelings in his viewers with a style reminiscent of the Impressionists. He coaxes these stories onto the canvas using a number of media including dry pastel, gouache, and oils. Whether en plein air or in his converted barn studio, he captures Nature’s intangibles with subtlety and grace. Daniel has a BFA in painting and has studied with several notable artists. His work was recognized with several awards as a signature member of the American Impressionists Society and Pastel Society of America. His paintings can be found in private and public collections.Featured Work
