Diane Rappisi

About the Artist

Diane Rappisi is an IAPS Master Circle member, a Signature Member of the Pastel Society of America, and holds memberships in the Maryland Pastel Society, the Pastel Society of Colorado, the Salmagundi Club in New York, and the Oil Painters of America. She trained at Studio Incamminati in Philadelphia, where she deepened her understanding of color, form and anatomy, and discovered her love of figure painting. Diane’s work has been exhibited throughout the U.S. and abroad and has won numerous awards in national and international exhibitions. She's taught workshops in various locations throughout the US as well as Australia and New Zealand. After 5 years of running her teaching studio, "The Atelier at Castle Rock" in Colorado, Diane now teaches and paints at her Chestertown studio, "Diane Rappisi Fine Arts Studio."
