Diego Retana

About the Artist

Diego Retana is a freelance guitarist in the D.C, Maryland, and Northern Virginia area.  Having received an Associate of Arts in music from Frederick Community College, and a Bachelor of Music with a focus on jazz/commercial performance from Towson University, Diego is a capable guitarist in many styles of music including jazz, classical, rock, and other popular styles. Currently, Diego is working as the lead guitarist in his newest band, Fermi's Paradox, a progressive jazz-rock band that takes elements of the many different styles of rock and pop, and combines them with jazz elements such as harmony and form. He is available for wedding, parties, shows, and all other types of gigs, as well as private lessons.
