About the Artist

The award winning recording artist “DiVine of Annapolis” was formed and started singing Gospel Music January, 1993. They are a “High Energy” group based out of Annapolis, the Capital of Maryland with gospel music for everyone. DiVine of Annapolis is known for their well-rounded style and edgy take on traditional, contemporary and neo- gospel music. The group consists of vocalist: Viola Johnson, Crystal Mackell, Sharnae Wallace, Debra Robinson, Patricia Whye-Samuel, Karen Johnson, and Gloria Dove. The musicians are: Harold Sims, Sr., Melvin Samuel, Horace Martin,  and Kenny Day. All have been saved by the Marvelous Grace of Jesus Christ. DiVine has performed at such major events as the AFRAM, First Night Annapolis, Freedom Festival, the Gospel MusicAwards in Augusta, GA, the Virginia State Parks Concert Series, The Black Engineers Awards, Another Level Gospel TVShow, East Coast Music Summit,  Prestigious Newsome Awards, and the Prayze Factor People’s Choice Award Event in Atlanta, GA.  DiVine was the recipient of the Prestigious Newsome Award for Female Gospel Group of the Year Award for 2014; The 2015 S&M Gospel Music Indie Award for Contemporary Female Group of the Year; and the 2015 Prayze Factor People’s Choice Award for Female Quartet of the year. DiVine released its cd entitled “Touch and Agree” August 2014 with a multi mix of gospel tunes. The 1st single released “If I Ever Needed You” has been an inspiration to many.
