Dmitrii Volkov

About the Artist

Dmitrii Volkov, an artist, a jeweler and a designer, has more than 20-year experience in creating of metal art objects and architectural designs for the buildings.Born and grew up in Saint-Petersburg Russia, he attended the Roerich Arts School and the Schtieglietz State Academy of Art and Industry. Dmitrii was a winner of young St. Petersburg jewelers contest to commemorate 150th birthday of Karl Fabergé and of the “Art Moment” international contest. Art nouveau is his favorite style. His works include the “VVC Tower“ art object for the State Museum of Political History of Russia, the “Moment” publik art object for  Henkel company (instaled in St. Petersburg Russia) Design and manufacture metal decorative elements of The Maly Drama Theatre facade mainstream stage building in St.Petersburg. Restoration of decorative elements of the front facade of DLT Department Store, architectural monument of early XX century. Restoration of the front entrance stairway of the Catherine's Palace, architectural monument of XVIII century, subject to UNESCO protection of world heritage (Tsarskoye Selo, Pushkin).
