About the Artist
Love to doodle in my paint. Sometimes the brush just dances on the canvas, love that, other times it just sits there and looks at me. My painting is almost childlike in that when my brush hits the canvas, I am having fun.
I paint with abandon, emotion, and colors rule. I love color! However, I work spontaneously with a limited color palette of mostly primary colors.
I follow few rules but have won many awards. The outcome to me is not as important as the process of painting. I never want to know the end of a good book or movie. Therefore, I always want to be surprised with the finished painting. I was fortunate to have had classes with the now-deceased artist, Gale Bennett, an internationally renowned impressionistic artist.
Having been the sole parent of five children, one can understand why I find painting so relaxing. I have encouraged my grandchildren and my mentally challenged so to paint. I would truly like people to share in the job that I get from painting.
