About the Artist
Elias Schutzman is a teaching artist with the Wolf Trap Institute for Early Learning Through the Arts and Arts for Learning Maryland. Since 2016 he has been teaching arts integrated residencies, performing interactive assemblies and giving family involvement workshops for public school children throughout Maryland, DC and Virginia. As a musician, Elias has been a principal songwriter, drummer, keyboard player and vocalist for his bands The Flying Eyes, Black Lung and Revvnant, releasing over 9 original albums and touring internationally since 2010. As an actor he has worked with local theater companies such as Center Stage, Everyman Theatre and most recently the Baltimore Rock Opera Society as a performer, musician and composer. A native son of Charm City, Elias attended the Baltimore School for the Arts and went on to receive a BA in Theatre from the University of Maryland, College Park.Featured Work
