About the Artist
After graduating from Magruder High School in Montgomery County, Emma Blanco attended college at Brigham Young University, where she became under the tutelage of Ryan Brown. After studying English, working for an airline, and beginning her travels, Emma pursued opportunities toward her training as an artist at the Center for Academic Study and Naturalist Painting (CAS). Since then, she has spent time in various locations contributing to the local art discussion and developing as an artist. Emma Blanco focuses on issues, subjects, and messages that impact the atmosphere within a space.
