G. Whyte is a Maryland-based recording artist and creative director specializing in R&B, Neo-Soul, House, funk, Afrobeats and contemporary soul fusion. Through his work with The Whyte House Band, he produces live music experiences that center storytelling, cultural expression, and audience connection. His artistry focuses on themes of love, vulnerability, and human connection, contributing to the evolving landscape of independent R&B music.

Artist's Statement

My work centers on creating immersive R&B experiences that explore love, vulnerability, and emotional healing. Rooted in my Guyanese heritage and Afro-Caribbean influence, my music blends contemporary R&B with cultural storytelling to reflect both personal and shared experiences within Black and Caribbean communities. Through live performance, I create intentional spaces where audiences can feel seen, connected, and present. My work is designed not only to entertain, but to encourage reflection, release, and a deeper sense of emotional awareness.

* 90-minute structured performance set

* The Whyte House Band – Full 10-piece live band experience
* 120-minute performance or two 60-minute sets
* High-energy, musically directed show with full production flow

All performances include pre-event coordination to ensure alignment with event flow, production needs, and audience experience.

Audio & Sound Support: (Band can also provide if needed)

* Vocal microphones and instrument inputs (DI boxes as needed)
* Stage monitors or in-ear monitoring for performers
* Sound engineer or technician for setup and live mixing

Backline & Instruments:
* Keyboard, guitar, bass, and drum kit (provided by band or coordinated with venue)
* Amplifiers and stands as required
* Power supply and cable management for all equipment

Stage & Production:
* Designated performance space or stage
* Basic stage lighting to support visibility and atmosphere
* Soundcheck time prior to performance for proper balance and coordination

Technical Coordination:
* Pre-event communication with venue staff regarding technical needs
* Load-in and setup time for equipment and personnel
* Performance schedule alignment to ensure smooth event flow
