About the Artist

From his humble beginnings at a seminary school in Buea, Cameroon where he cleaned outhouses to earn his keep, to moving into his father’s middle-class lifestyle in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, Ezko discovered his talent while freestyling at lunch tables at Montgomery College. The following he developed in school motivated him to pursue his passion for rhyming with more precision, instead of just as a hobby. 
 In 2015, the rapper made his formal launch on the scene with the Sleep EP, which featured collaborations with multi-platinum writer/recording artists Drew Love (THEY) and Ade. The reception from this project, his 2017 follow-up release, and countless performances at local open mics landed him in various publications (Washington Post, NPR, NOISEY, Pigeons and Planes, 2DopeBoyz), and in rankings with DMV natives Wale, IDK, and Goldlink. His captivating stage presence caught the attention of Live Nation, placing him on stages as supporting act for Pusha-T, Lucki, MADEINTYO, Playboi Carti, and Raekwon.
