About the Artist
Greg Jenkins is Professor of English at Garrett College in McHenry, Maryland; he has also taught at Frostburg State University and at Potomac State College.
He is the author of four books, includjng his 2016 novel A Face in the Sky, published by Harvard Square Editions. In addition, he has written numerous short stories and plays.
The journals to which he has contributed fiction range from Prairie Schooner and Chicago Quarterly Review to Weirdbook and Grotesque Magazine. His writing has been anthologized in The Irreal Reader, The Mammoth Book of Best New Erotica #10 and Stanley Kubrick's The Shining: Studies in the Horror Film.
At this point he is the recipient of four Individual ArtistAwards (1997, 2004, 2013 and 2018) from the Maryland State Arts Council.
Dr. Jenkins received his Ph.D. from Penn State University in 1994. A member of American Mensa. He lives with his wife Michelle in Luke, Maryland.
