About the Artist

Maryland based international artist with a wide range of experience in fine art painting, mixed media and drawing as well as a previous career path that included architecture, graphic design, cultural institutions and curatorial offices. Recent contemporary artwork includes a stylistic blend of mark-making with figurative and landscape elements. As a frequent traveler to Southeast Asia, it has influenced my western art abstraction sensibilities to bend towards an eastern appreciation of "made by the hand" quality of design and materials. Available for art commissions, and exhibition curatorial services.

Artist's Statement

In a digital media world, where images are fleeting and easily disappear, the permanence of a work of art drawn, painted or assembled, will be the visual record of our time. I strive to be relevant, to say something now with my art, and leave something for those who look back on my work in the future.
