About the Artist

heather joi tennant is an autodidactic, trans-disciplinary visionary artist. her work is inspired by nature, symbolism, mythology, technical research, collaboration with other gracious artists and experimentation. Hailing from the wild and wonderful hills of almost heaven west virginia but presently living in Maryland where she has exhibited and performed for approximately 15 years. heather joi has shown in maryland business establishments, galleries, juried art exhibitions, and publications. Artist's Statement

For me painting is a spirit life sustaining meditative practice. an essential exercise in intuitive visual interaction with line, form, color, movement, and vibration. My work is intended to be a mind, body, spirit landscape playground and is produced both from unconscious meditation and conscious ideal. As a hopeful dreamer it is my desire that as you gaze into these various hallucinatory mirror clouds that you perceive something of yourself and rise completely in love. seamless, unnamable, it returns to the realm of nothing. form that includes all forms, image without an image, subtle, beyond all conception. ~the tao...14...Lao Tzu
