Hiltbrand Craig

This was inspired by a video game I used to play called Battlefield 1. I belonged to a gaming clan and would make web banners for teammates. This was part of one I made for myself. I liked the outcome of the mask that I made it into it's own entity so to speak. About 90% of this was created in Adobe Illustrator. The effects on the goggles were done in Adobe Photoshop. I had this printed onto a couple of t-shirts and a piece of aluminum though all in black and white. I added the color recently and I like it even more.

This is so far one of my favorites. I wanted to go for a comic book feel with this one. It took me 2 months to complete because I kept changing the way the buildings look. When I was finally happy with the buildings I started with the car. Created in Adobe Illustrator (the car along with the buildings) and then imported everything into Adobe Photoshop. The car was only used in Photoshop as a shadow. The finished piece has the car shape cut out of black plexiglass. Then the car was printed onto adhesive vinyl and mounted to the plexiglass. The plexiglass was then mounted onto the printed cityscape art to give it a more 3 dimensional appearence.

I am inspired by the whole rock and roll side of art in this piece is no exception. The 8 ball was really just an attempt at creating a 3 dimensional sphere which in turned turned into the final piece. I work in a printing enviornment so the mediums listed are what I have printed it on.
