About the Artist

Hello, my name is Jeff Elmore aka King J, and I’m a graphic designer, illustrator, and a mixed media artist. I’m a graduate of the Savannah College of Art & Design with a BFA in Graphic Design. I have a style that’s a hybrid of all of my influences and experiences. The distinctive vivid colors of the Pop Art movement, the stylistic prowess of the Harlem Renaissance, the unique storytelling of the world of comics, and the diversity of everyday life. My latest work centers around embracing and celebrating African American culture. I look to inspire others with positive images of people of color of all shades, shapes, and sizes who normally don’t see themselves portrayed in a positive light. My motto is, “art with a royal twist” because I want my clients to feel like they’re getting the royal treatment with every piece of art they receive.
