About the Artist

Im 34 years old and i make jewelry for a living. I suffer from disabilities such as Funtional Neurological Movement Disorder with mixed symptoms, Endometriosis,  Iron and B-12 deficiencies, and am being tested for POTS. Making jewelry helps get me through living with these conditions and makes me feel like i can still be productive even on days i can't do much. In the last 3 years after loosing my mom I became disabled and couldnt walk well, and now I walk with a cane. I can't work a normal job like I use to so I started crafting more. I turned my hobby into my own buisness and have sold hundreds of pieces and vend in 2 shops, Appalachain Station Trading Post in Smithsburg and Washington County Arts Council Gallery and Shop in Hagerstown. Making jewelry was inspired by my mom, she loved jewelry but was often hard on it and would borrow and break many of my necklaces and bracelets. I'd repair them or make something new out of them that she'd like even better. I still make new jewelry out of old pieces and I create many new pieces including custom designs. I love vintage jewelry,  copper, and gears. I use these to make steam punk stlye jewelry. I also wire wrap crystals and seashells, make gemstone stretch bracelets, clasp beaded bracelets, anklets, and necklaces, earrings, hemp bracelets, necklaces, and anklets, suncatchers, beaded spiders, pixie bottle necklaces, keychains, and much more. Each piece is unique and durable. I'll never make 2 pieces the same, partailly because I never remember how I make them, I just get an artistic flair and create!
