About the Artist

Art is Jessica St. Clair's life-long joy, passion and profession. Through photography, paint, digital art and graphic design she thoughtfully expresses uplifting energy and peaceful serenity to beautify your space and positively impact your perspective.  That's good vibes by design! After earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with high honors from William Paterson University in 2002, Jessica's education and passion fueled a variety of creative career paths, including Lead Designer and Visual Information Specialist for the US Government through 2013, as well as long-term residencies in two art galleries, and owner/artist/operator of Jessica St. Clair Studio, LLC from 2013-2024.

Multiple images are combined to paint with photography an image of a steadfast light house keeping faithful watch over the waters below.
By layering together three different photographs (taken years apart) of an incoming storm, rolling waves and a seagull in flight, the mood is set for a dramatic seashore scene. Presenting this image on a custom-made backdrop of canvas, wood and natural rope lend tactile feel to the nautical theme of this artwork.
An aged row boat set aground on the shoreline awaits its next passengers while a willow tree graces the water's surface in this peaceful setting. Subtle yet striking with gentle touches of blue and beige introduced against a monochrome backdrop.
