“For me, painting is a means of contemplating the natural world and my relationship to it. I seek out wild places and represent organic environmental form, color and light in the landscape punctuated by human elements. I sometimes incorporate natural materials, mono print and mixed media collage into my abstract landscape paintings.”

About the Artist

  I studied art and earned a BFA from MICA in Baltimore, Maryland. My work has been shown regionally in solo and group exhibitions and is held in private as well as commercial collections. My abstract landscape paintings, giving image to environmental concerns and man's impact on the landscape, that led me to exhibit work in the US Embassy of Mongolia in Ulaanbaatar, and the US Institute Taipei, Taiwan. I currently reside and have a studio and gallery in Annapolis, MD.
