About the Artist

I am a musician that emphasizes access by all to active musical participation.  Helping people of  all abilities, ages and backgrounds to connect within themselves, connect to loved ones and to the larger community is my goal.  Thus I  teach ukulele and bluegrass music with a special tuning that allows novice or disabled players to learn to play popular tunes.  I lead dancing that requires no partner, no fancy moves or memorized patterns.  My music is also diverse in genre, going beyond northern European-derived tunes to African, Hispanic and Middle-Eastern.
