Judy Sutton Moore

Public Art, Sculpture / Installation, Visual / Media

The center of Judy's artistic designs is the innovation of site-specific artwork with a client-oriented approach. Innovation in the design context, use of natural light, symbolism, and deep meaningfulness are hallmarks of my work. She has specialized in creating works of art that communicate and commemorate specific stories, narratives, and historical celebration dates. Judy believes the foundation for public artworks celebrates the rich culture and tells a unique story about history and people. Her images demonstrate a keen sense of appropriateness in concept and design for a project and her adherence to site/client-community-centered work philosophy.

Artist's Statement

Judy Sutton Moore specializes in unique, large-scale, three-dimensional site-specific public art encompassing design, fabrication, full management, and installation of her works.  She intends to provide visual stimulation and provoke thought and dialogue amongst the viewers while creating art that strengthens a community’s identity. The interplay of “light with the line” is at the forefront of her work, with the defining line of stylized shapes and edges emphasizing highly polished metals and resins. Her expertise in 3D design, construction, and the utilization of the sun as a design element undergirds the creation and management.
