About the Artist

A native Southern Marylander, Julie-Ann grew up on the Chesapeake Bay. She is a Senior Adjunct Acting Instructor at Howard Community College. Julie-Ann began narrating books for Potomac Talking Books, a contractor for the Library of Congress' National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled in 2009, narrating over one hundred books in a variety of genres. She has also been a part of numerous full cast recordings for Graphic Audio. Most recently, she narrated books for Blackstone Audio and Tantor Media in her home studio. An empty-nester who launched twin sons, she's a lover of books, hiking, yoga and shark's teeth hunting on Calvert beaches.
