About the Artist
Justin Burley, was born on March 16, 1989. He is a native of Baltimore, Maryland and an avid believer that music is one of the best forms of expression for the soul of a person. This singer, song writer, composer, arranger, musician, teacher, and director have been involved in music since he was born.
As a church boy singing is just as natural as breathing. In church Justin is the leader of his worship team and a choir director as well. As a worship leader, Justin has sung in churches throughout the east coast including Georgia, Oklahoma and even England.
Yet his vocal ability is not limited to just people of faith but in the city of Baltimore he has and continues to perform and collabirate with local jazz, folk, and pop aritst in the great city of Balitmore while still working on his own independent musical projects. He utilizes his musical abilities in traditional, improvisational, and experimental ways.
His voice is just part of his musical ability. With the trumpet, piano, and guitar as his instrument of choice, he strives to give all he has. His greatest focus is that of poeple who stuggle with mental health issues such as Despression, Stress, PTSD, ADHD, ect. He believes that Music heals and can reach places where mere words can not. As someone who knows first hand about the challenges that are faced when dealing with mental health, Justin uses his own gift of music and art to not only reach others but to comfort himself as well.
With a unique sound and a cool vide, Justin combines the energy of rock, the smoothness of jazz, the sorrow of the blues, the structure and complexity of classical, the serenity of spirituals, the comfort of folk, the fun of pop, and the inspirtation of gospel into everytning performance and every work he brings forth.
