About the Artist

Full-time inspired by color, design, and nature, initiates expressions through photography and acrylic painting on a part-time basis. After attending Salisbury State College concentrating in Art History and Photography, I lived in other Eastern seaboard states and the southern region of Ontario, Canada. I returned to family ties on the Eastern Shore and raised two children in Talbot County. A few years ago I settled in Dorchester County to continue to be "near the water". There is always an abundance of interesting subjects to capture and express. I travel often for my current day job, which also offers many opportunities to be inspired by and capture subjects often overlooked in our daily lives. Over the llat several years, I've learned to "go with the flow", which fluid acrylic painting has aassisted me to allow the fluidity of the paint be the voice. Every fluid painting is unique and a process of discovery. It's a reminder that I am only a messenger within the creative process.
