Overwhelming amount of media and print imagery enter out subconsciousness everyday, affecting our perception of the world and shaping our self-image. Whether we embrace the popular trends or reject them, we are still being influenced unbeknownst to ourselves. The bombardment of adds and the artillery of spam. One cannot read an article without being asked on a date, or watch a film with out someone selling enlargement pills and fat burners. In my recent body of work I explore and reflect on my personal struggle and the effects of overwhelming popular imagery and media on my personal life, as well as my many observations of these effects in relation to our perceptions of body, sex, and the world around us.Featured Work
