Kennard is an artist and writer who resides in Cecil County Maryland. He works in acrylics, watercolor, colored pencil and mixed media. HIs passion is his sketchbooks. He does not sell his art. He gives it away to friends. He is a graduate of the University of Delaware where he majored in arts and humanities.
Kennard's books include histories of Newark Delaware, the Delaware Air National Guard, the Delaware Army Natioanl Guard, Dover Air Force Base, amd Delaware Aviation. He is currently working on a history of Delaware in World War I. (He was born and raised in nearby Delaware)
