About the Artist

LeeAnet Noble is an internationally critically acclaimed multi-faceted artist. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Howard University with her BFA in Theatre and is certified in Equity from Purdue University. As a performer (dancer, actor, singer, drummer) she played lead roles in the award-winning shows STOMP and Drumstruck and has worked with and/or opened for Rihanna, Alicia Keys, Gwen Stefani, Bono, Sheryl Crow, and more. She worked with Disney Theatricals for nine years as a creative advisor and teaching artist, developing educational material for their licensed productions, and is featured in Disney’s The Lion King Experience. As a director, writer, and producer, her virtual production with Shakespeare Theatre Company Shakespeare Everywhere featured Angela Bassett, Keith David, Helen Mirren, Judi Dench, Ralph Fiennes, and more. She also created and directed Goddess: The Women of Gods produced by Harvard University which premiered virtually 2021. She became a published writer at the age of seventeen and was mentored by Emmy award winner Charles S. Dutton for her creative scripts. She works with major theatres (Broadway and Regional) in Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion efforts. She has lectured and/or taught at Howard University, Spelman College, Morgan State University, The University of Maryland, and more. She currently teaches a Black history course for George Washington University’s MFA graduate studies program. Her original podcast Next Up exploring equity and diversity in theatre produced by Shakespeare Theatre Company is currently available on iHeart and apple. She is the director of 10Seconds the film and theatre production about police relations with Black youth in Washington DC, which begins its second tour in the Fall of 2022. She seeks to enlighten , engage, and entertain in unique groundbreaking ways through the arts.
