About the Artist

I am LaShonda C. Henderson, a writer, poet, painter, and ethical technologist whose creative and technological endeavors explore the social implications of love on both micro and macro levels. Through poetry, novels, workshop journals, and daily reflections shared on social media, I delve into how love shapes our society and individual experiences. As an ethical technologist, I leverage artificial intelligence to create innovative digital art and literature, testing and pushing the boundaries of technological systems and programming to explore their creative capacities and ethical dimensions. Originally from Alabama, I have resided in Prince George's County, Maryland for almost two decates, my work bridges personal narratives and collective experiences. My passion for visual arts includes both traditional methods, such as expressive acrylic paintings on canvas, and digital artistic creations. My mission is to "Educate, identify, and expand on the blueprint that life teaches about love. I tell stories, in a sometimes-absurd manner, so the reader can draw their own conclusions, then question and compare the actions of the characters against their own experiences."
