About the Artist
Lauren Amanda Garrett (she/her) is a multidisciplinary artist. Ancestor work and spirituality inform Lauren's overall process. She primarily braids music, visual art, poetry, with media that includes beadwork, photography, and experimental performance art. Lauren is Federally enrolled with the Eastern Shoshone Tribe. She also embodies ancestral bloodlines of Celtic, Nordic, and Teutonic origins. Lauren's first four original "Indigenous Flower Fairies" paintings are on display at the Fort Bridger State Historic site in southwestern Wyoming. She is also the originator and self-proprietor of the brand "Native American Flower Fairies." Lauren currently teaches "INT-202: Exploring Diversity" at Neumann University in Aston, PA as an adjunct instructor; and runs a music studio for private violin and voice lessons at Bill's Music in Catonsville, MD. She is also a regular performer with SEEDS Philadelphia, an indigenous art collective. Lauren is increasingly in demand for her many talents and knowledge.Lauren Amanda website LaurenGarrett.net Lauren Amanda website Native American Flower Fairies Instagram Lauren Amanda website RedBubble Art Shop
