A photographic print is a way to hold time in your hand.
About the Artist
I'm a photographer and a folk artist. I've never gone to school for art, though I read up on it from time to time. I document people and environments. I paint saints and visions. I publish books. Since 2015, I have been documenting the redlight district of Tijuana, Mexico, and recently published the first book from this series of photographs. In 2022, I was awarded Book Photographer of the Year from International Photography Awards for my book Collage de Rachel Wrong, featuring my photographs, paintings by Gregg Stone, and poetry from Rachel Wrong, an American woman working as a prostitute in Tijuana.Lily J.
