About the Artist
Lyn Schramm graduated cum laude from Michigan State University with a Bachelor in Music Education as a string specialist. As the first co-recipient of the Motor Wheel Foundation Grant for Graduate Study, she received her Masters Degree in Music Education with emphasis on keyboard and choral music also from Michigan State University. As an educator, she has taught in Michigan, California, Tennessee, Maine and Japan. She has served as an accompanist, organist, cellist, choral director and music educator in both choral and string music throughout the United States and Japan. Currently, Mrs. Schramm is Artistic Director of The Sanford Concert Series at St. Andrew’s; member of the St. Mary's County Arts Council; director of Two Rivers Harmony; private instructor in cello; and serves as accompanist in southern Maryland.
