About the Artist

Manny Arciniega is percussionist, composer, arranger, and performer located in Silver Spring, MD. He earned an undergraduate degree in Music Education and Theory Composition from Texas Christian University and a Masters in Timpani and Percussion Performance from the Royal Academy of Music in London. Manny has performed with a wide variety of groups in concert halls all around the world, including the Symphony Orchestra of India, The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, The London Sinfonietta, The American Pops Orchestra, and many more. He is in high demand as a theatre musician in the Washington DC area, having music directed shows at the Roundhouse Theatre, Signature Theatre, and American University, and has performed in the orchestras of many theatre productions in the area. He is a teaching artist for the Kreeger Museum, Arts for the Aging, and has been a guest lecturer at Georgetown University, Texas Christian University, and American University.
