Artist's Statement
I like to paint the beauty that can be found in everyday objects. I paint what I find interesting and hope that the objects or subjects I choose speak for themselves. In this fast-paced world, it is easy to overlook our own habitats…the people, places, and objects we choose to hold close. I paint to explore the process and for the pleasure of creating. I hope that my work causes the viewer to pause and see the beauty that I see.
