About the Artist
Matthew Moore is an Assistant Professor and Coordinator of the Photography Program at Anne Arundel Community College in Arnold, Maryland. Matthew received a BFA degree in photography from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan in 2000. He earned an MFA degree in photography from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia in 2009. Matthew’s work revolves around themes of disappearance, the evolution of photography, and human-animal relationships.Featured Work

The images in this project were all taken with a 4x5 technical field camera using black & white sheet film. Each negative was then processed by hand, mounted onto glass, and scanned into a computer. The final prints are 16x20 Archival Pigment Prints, printed on a matte surface Hahnemuhle paper.
