The Hunit is a hand-carved linoleum block print printed ink black ink on 16x20” natural kitikata paper. The Hunt is print number one in a series dedicated to animal wildlife in ode of traditional Japanese woodblock prints. In the sprawling black pine tree, we see a dedicated feline catch her prey.

The Watcher is a hand-carved linoleum block print printed ink black ink on 16x20” natural kitikata paper. In this print we see a celebration of the linoleum block print medium-texture. A massive hawk peers through a black pine observing his territory. The Watcher is print number two in a series of animal themed prints paying homage to traditional Japanese woodblocks.

"No Mud, No Lotus" is an 8x10 inch hand-carved linoleum block print in Cranfield process blue ink on gorgeous fibrous Japanese washi paper. Inspired by the Chinese proverb 出污泥而不染 and adopted by the great Vietnamese Buddhist Monk, Thich Nhat Hanh in his book “No Mud, No Lotus: The Art Of Transforming Suffering” “…Without mud, you cannot have a lotus flower. Without suffering, you have no ways in order to learn how to be understanding and compassionate…. Happiness is the lotus flower, and the suffering is the mud. So the practice is how to make use of the suffering, make use of the mud, to create the flower, the happiness, and this is possible.” When we learn to acknowledge, embrace, and understand our suffering, we suffer much less. Not only that, but we’re also able to go further and transform our suffering into understanding, compassion, and joy.

Bodies Like Oceans #1 is a hand-carved linoleum block print on 11x14" Stonehenge kraft-colored archival paper. Bodies Like Oceans #1 celebrates and features a gorgeous fat Black body detailed with fine lines to accentuate every curve and roll. This print is part of a three-print series called Bodies Like Oceans based on the idea that fat bodies are magic, they hold the depth of the ocean, and they are grand, beautiful, and worth protecting.

'Abundant Together' is an 11x14 inch hand-carved linoleum block print. The print is hand-pressed onto magenta-colored Lokta Paper. 'Abundant Together' features a linoleum block printed image of artist-inspired textured pomegranates in celebration of the Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashanah. Pomegranates are holy fruits in Judaism and signify many things including the 613 mitzvot, blessings, much prosperity, and the opportunity to do good deeds. 'Abundant Together' was made as an homage to a life of abundance and community safety-- where everyone has what they need and everyone feels safe to be their whole selves.
