Artist's Statement

An assortment of animals, crazy characters, mythical monsters, and more are continuously filling my up the inside of my head. I paint them into existence using bold color and a thick and chunky acrylic that begs to be touched. My offbeat style appeals to the young at heart and is guaranteed to provoke a smile.

This unique painting depicts two swashbuckling crabs swordfighting using the Capoferro technique (with a tip of the hat to The Princess Bride).
My favorite holiday is Halloween.
Berserk... out of control with anger or excitement; wild or frenzied Banana... a long curved fruit which grows in clusters and has soft pulpy flesh and yellow skin when ripe
Crazy... mentally deranged, especially as manifested in a wild or aggressive way Carrot... a tapering orange-colored root eaten as a vegetable
Evil... profoundly immoral and malevolent Jackal... a slender, long-legged wild dog that feeds on carrion, game, and fruit and often hunts cooperatively, found in Africa and southern Asia
