My ceramic practice explores dialogue with clay, creating works that challenge norms, give voice to the unseen, and reflect human struggle, connection, and resilience through form, texture, and narrative.

My practice in ceramics is rooted in a profound and often tension-filled dialogue with the material itself. The clay speaks, sometimes it falls silent; I respond, sometimes I pause; and at times, we both speak at once. It is within this dynamic exchange that my work emerges—through struggle, negotiation, friendship, and moments of intensity. Every piece I create carries traces of this dialogue, embodying a sense of conflict and collaboration simultaneously. In my work, I seek to challenge conventional notions of beauty and widely accepted aesthetic norms. I am drawn to the marginalized, the overlooked, and the silenced, striving to bring these presences to the forefront. My sculptures and forms often confront the unseen or ignored elements of society, articulating their stories and existence in ways that are tangible and visceral. The forms I produce can take the shape of an animal, an abstract figure, a light-filled structure, or a dark, introspective object. What matters most is the dialogue each piece fosters with the viewer, inviting them into a world that might otherwise remain unseen. This process is not merely about creating objects; it is about creating a language of resistance, visibility, and presence. Each sculpture is born out of my engagement with the clay—a negotiation of force, patience, intuition, and spontaneity. The material challenges me, and I, in turn, respond. Through this interaction, my work becomes a reflection of human struggle, connection, and expression. I aim to cultivate works that are both confrontational and inviting, offering glimpses into worlds that are often dismissed or neglected. Through ceramics, I explore relationships between form, surface, and narrative, using the tactile, transformative qualities of clay to evoke emotion, memory, and awareness. Every texture, every contour, and every subtle imperfection speaks to the unpredictability of life and the resilience required to navigate it. Ultimately, my practice is an ongoing conversation between myself, the clay, and the broader social and cultural context in which the work exists. I strive to create pieces that resonate, challenge, and inspire, offering viewers a space to encounter the unseen, reconsider assumptions, and reflect on the richness and complexity of the human experience.Featured Work

Trail Blazer
Ceramics
2024
This ceramic sculpture depicts a horse racing toward an unknown future, its four hooves pounding with determination. It carries the understanding that true limits are self-made, refusing to recognize any boundaries—neither of geography nor of emotion. Bold and fearless, it embodies humanity itself: courageous, boundary-defying, unafraid of what lies ahead, and always open to innovation and action. The glazes used give the piece a metallic sheen, symbolizing a wild harmony between earth and metal, a striking fusion that reflects both strength and untamed beauty. This work captures the spirit of freedom and unstoppable drive, inspiring viewers to embrace their own potential.

Sunken Feather
Ceramics
2025
This piece is one of those works that refuses to fit any mold in form or structure, yet knows no boundaries in its emotional expression. Despite the fragility of the clay, I carefully nurtured it until it achieved a visual integrity that feels solid and complete. Like a living metaphor, it draws the viewer in, leading them on an emotional journey. From different angles, it reveals new sensations, unexpected stories, and subtle shifts of feeling—inviting each person to discover their own narrative within the work.

Tidal Phantom
Ceramics
2025
This piece tells the story of a creature that can never decide whether it belongs to the underwater world it inhabits or the skies it has always dreamed of. Structurally and formally, the work moves away from traditional molds and narratives. The fish that seems to fly, the bird that appears orderly, the underwater being journeying toward the sky, or the sky-bound creature diving into the depths—all of them belong nowhere in particular. They move only by their feelings, following bravely wherever the heart leads. This work celebrates that freedom, the courage to go beyond boundaries, and the emotional journey that guides us all.

Flames of Defiance
Ceramics
2025
In this piece, I challenged the traditional ceramic vessel form, breaking away from familiar shapes to create something entirely new. The added flames and fragments of fire lift the work beyond conventional boundaries, giving it a sense of independence and a fresh, imaginative dimension. I also experimented with glazes, using my own unique formulas to transform the surface texture and color, adding another layer of depth and intrigue. This is a piece meant to be explored from all angles—360 degrees of discovery—revealing unexpected details and shifting perspectives with every turn. It’s an experiment in form, movement, texture, and the limitless possibilities of clay.
