Modern Dance Instructor (Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission) December 2017 - Present | Upper Marlboro, MD + I currently teach modern dance to preschoolers ages 3 - 5, and adolescents ages 6 - 12. During each of my six-week sessions, my focus is to teach and review essential modern dance vocabulary, build beginner's stretch workouts, teach modern dance choreography, and instill musical creativity (musical artistry) in the young dancers Modern Dance Instructor (Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission) April 2017 - August 2017 | Fort Washington, MD + I teach modern dance to preschoolers ages 3 - 5, adolescents ages 6 - 12, and teens. Chief Obi - during the Penn State Harrisburg African Student Union's 2013 event, "Africraze" + Penn State Harrisburg Dance Club dancer 2012-2013; Added choreography to "Cockiness" by Rihanna. + Dr. Henry A. Wise Jr., High School student who was one of the central dancer's; was the role of "Mom" within choreography, for the 2010 Annual Spring Dance Concert. The music was "Family Portrait" by Pink.  + Dr. Henry A. Wise Jr., High School student choreographer/solo dancer for the 2010 Winter Dance Showcase, “Carmina Burana” music by Carl Orff. + Dr. Henry A. Wise Jr., High School student choreographer/dancer intercepted part of the "Giraffes", within the "If I Ran the Zoo" 2009 Dr. Seuss (themed) Dance Concert; with music "The Kraken" by Hans Zimmer. + Dr. Henry A. Wise Jr., High School student choreographer/dancer for the 2009 Spring Dance Concert, Dr. Seuss (themed) “Have You Got It In You?" music by Imogen Heap. + Created Avant-Garde choreography for my school’s elite dance ensemble in preparation for the 2009 Spring Dance Concert. Myself and my sister portrayed and danced as “The Zax” (North and South, respectively) during our performance, in our 2009 Spring Dance Concert.
