About the Artist

Naina is a local student, studying physics and visual arts at Johns Hopkins University. They have been doing art for over fifteen years and love experimenting with different media.  Notably, they enjoy painting, making jewelry, making zines, and various forms of printmaking and collaging. Their art is inspired by their love for South Asian art techniques, vibrant colors, nature, space, and creatures of all kinds. They love learning about and incorporating histories of queerness, resistance, and intersectionality into their art. They had their first solo showcase as the featured artist of the month for Common Ground Cafe in October 2024.
