About the Artist

I’m Jeanne Woodward, a photographer who loves nature/wildlife, still life, animals (including pets) and people photography.  For me, photography is more than taking beautiful images.  It’s about capturing the emotion and essence of a single moment, and sharing that with the world.  Every photograph that I take has a story behind it.  It’s being able to capture that story through the lens of my camera that is both exciting and exhilarating.  I truly believe that there are things nobody would see if I didn’t photograph them.  It is my responsibility as a photographer to share these moments.  I am a self-taught photographer.  I have been photographing “Life” since I was a young girl.  All of my photography is photographed using natural light.  I am a member of: *  Worcester County Arts Council, Berlin, Maryland *  Ocean City Art League, Ocean City, Maryland *  NANPA (North American Nature Photography Association) *  American Photographic Artists (Washington DC Chapter) *  Tidewater Camera Club (Eastern Shore, Maryland) *  She Clicks - Women Photographer Network I am located near Ocean City, Maryland.
