Art makes you feel better.

About the Artist

Making art is what gives me pure joy. I begin with a blank canvas and let my heart and paint brush take over. I have so many memories stored away and I let them surface based on the energy of the day. Making art makes me feel good and it’s part of my self-care practice. I received a 2023 Creativity Grant from the Maryland State Arts Council to further develop my "Who Cares?" series. Please read more about the project here. As a community artist, I support the arts in the Rockville area through my volunteer work with the Rockville Cultural Arts Commission, Rockville Art League, Rockville Chamber of Commerce, F. Scott Fitzgerald Literary Festival, and others. It gives me great pleasure to continue partnering with non-traditional gallery spaces through my commitment to support artists and businesses through the Capital Workplace Sangamore Road Bethesda and Toler Financial Group Gallery in Silver Spring. As I continue to balance arts and healing in my life, I am very pleased to celebrate my 5th year with the amazing team at Assisting Hands Home Care as Director of Community Relations. I look forward to helping more of my friends, family and colleagues find solutions to their caregiving needs; thus opening up more time to be creative! Please contact me to visit my Studio Gallery in Rockville and purchase completed work or commission a new piece!
