About the Artist

I am a self-taught artist, inspired by life. They say the eyes are the window to the soul. And I believe that to be true. I define my work as an opinion to express, which is created to invoke the thoughts, emotions and impression of the viewer. Because art is subjective, I create so the viewer can effortlessly engage with the art. I create original abstract, expression, modern, realism and contemporary works of art.   My images are not confined to one subject matter or design. Canvases are always primed and each work a series of under paintings, layered one after another, until the final image is achieved, and I am confident the expression is complete. You can find my art painting's decorating the walls of Restaurants, Homes, Businesses, walk in and online Art Galleries. You can also find my art on display at many exhibits hosted by Art Impact International, Lawyers for the Arts and the Law Firm Vendors Association, Maryland Art Society. Artist PJP Martin
