About the Artist
I am a mixed media pyrography artist. I have studied many forms of art. Drawing and painting always stuck out for me. I wanted to go a diffrerent route than normal pyrography. I like to incorporate gemstones, crystals, gold or silver into my pieces and finishing them with epoxy leaving them truly unique and beautiful. I have only recently begun showing my art. I am trying to get more involved with local artists and the community, and hoping to showcase at multiple places in the future.Featured Work

Loving Magnolias
Wood, Pyrography pen, Paint, Epoxy
2018
White magnolias symbolize purity and dignity they also represent the moon, any lunar goddess and for spells cast on Mondays. White magnolias are also commonly seen in bridal bouquets because the flowers are thought to reflect and emphasize the bride’s purity and nobility. A magnolia often symbolizes Yin, or the feminine side of life. French botanist, by the name of Pierre Magnol, helped scientists determine that plants came in families and not just species. Guess who magnolias are named after? That guy. Magnolias grow on trees, not vines, bushes or on stalks. These trees can live for a full century. Magnolias are thought to be one of the first flowering plants to evolve on Earth. Detailed colored woodburnig Epoxy resin finish to prevent color dulling, fading or chipping.
Sweet Pea
Wood, Pyrography pen, Paint, Epoxy
2018
The sweet pea is a flowering plant in the genus Lathyrus in the family Fabaceae, native to Sicily, Cyprus, southern Italy and the Aegean Islands. It is an annual climbing plant, growing to a height of 1–2 metres, where suitable support is available. In this Piece I tried to highlight the climbing movement of the flower. Sweet peas have 110 species and belong to the pea-flower subfamily of the Fabaceae family. Plus it smells heavenly. Too bad I couldnt make it a scratch and sniff picture! Detailed colored wood burning painted with acrylic paint. Finished with an epoxy resin to prevent dulling color, chipping, or fading.
Orchids
Wood, Pyrography pen, Paint, Epoxy
2018
Orchids are one of the largest families of flowers, with almost 27,000 species. They can be found in many different places like the Tropics to the Artic Circle. The orchid is usually associated with human sexuality due to the fact it resembles both, the male and female reproductive systems. 'Orxhis' is the greek word that translates to 'testicle'. Egypt, China, Africa, and Germany sought it out as an aphrodisiac and for love potions. Numerous cultures in East Asia proclaimed the orchid is a symbol of rarity and preciousness. Aztecs used vanilla and chocolate to give them energy, strength and power. They are beautiful strong, yet delicate flowers. Makes a great piece for any room! Naughty-cal Nonsense
Wood, Pyrography pen, Epoxy
2018
If nautical nonsense be something you wish, this Item might be perfect for that underwater themed picture. One of the most powerful influences on later portrayals of the mermaid came from Homer’s Odyssey, in which his hero’s ship is almost lured onto the rocks by the bewitching song of the sirens. Although the sirens of the Odyssey were half woman, half bird, the term ‘siren’ has since become synonymous with mermaids, and over the years, the murderous nature and enchanting beauty of Homer’s sirens have become defining traits of both creatures in many cultures. In the past, mermaids were not considered legend, but rather to be as real as any other sea creature we know today. Many famous sailors and explorers claimed to have laid eyes on a mermaid, including Christopher Columbus during his exploration of the New World in 1493. Let's be honest, we are all attracted to the possibility of mermaids. Its the charm and fantasy of it all. It is a beautiful representation of how love can overcome many obstacles.
This item is a wood burned image of a mermaid and a diver smoochin'. Bark edged wood, epoxy finish to prevent fading and chipping.
Alpha and Omega
Wood, Pyrography pen, Paint, crystals, Epoxy
2018
Alpha and Omega are the first and the last letters of the Greek alphabet. In the Bible, Book of Revelation, Christ refers to himself as both the Alpha (beginning) and the Omega (end) (Revelation 21:6, 22:13). In this piece I wanted to symbolize each in their own unique way. The female, Alpha, deer skull is to represent the fertility and delicate nature of the innocence of life beginning. She is wearing a floral crown is to symbolize how precious life can truly be, accompanied by gemstones engraved into her forehead to represent the light. The male, Omega, ram skull is pictured with black holes through his skull to represent mourning, the darkness or non existence. He is bathed in pools of blood scattered across his body symbolizing death, or draining of life. Blunt and agressive. Both are featured with skull heads because life and death are both necessary.Burned into the wood, then painted with acrylic paint and nail polish. Finished with an epoxy resin to prevent color dulling, fading and wood or paint chipping. SOLD AS PAIR.
