Artist's Statement
My name is Reginald Scott Burrell, Jr., married for 42 years, one son, two grands. I grew up on the Maryland's eastern shore in Salisbury with my grandparents, mother, brother and a host of cousins, I've been living in Baltimore since 1976, graduated from Frederick Douglass High, and currently enrolled at Morgan St. University; majoring in graphic design. Salvador Dali is my all time favorite artist and his work sparked a fire in me in the early 70's while in high school and since then, I've fell in love with the idea of surrealism. Landscapes are my more of a peace of mind setting, taking virtual trips around the world, gives me such a vast resource of subject matters. As long as God allows me to breathe, I'll paint!
