About the Artist
Rosemary Frisino Toohey has had more than 300 productions of her plays around the world from New York to New Zealand and nine of her comedies are published: Dramatic Publishing, Playscripts, Inc., and Lazy Bee Scripts. Her work is included in the collections of university libraries from Harvard to the University of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa and she's won grants from the Maryland State Arts Council for three of her dramas. The artist had a long career in radio news, including stints at WINS in New York, WHDH in Boston, KLOK in San Jose, WITH in Baltimore, WNEW in Baltimore-DC and WTOP in Washington. As a member of SAG, she also works in film and on TV and has appeared in dozens of films and TV shows.
