Artist's Statement
I am fundamentally interested in the evolution of collaborative art, and in deconstructing the wall between the painter and painting; between the audience and the artwork; between vision and final form. I don't try to control the outcomes of the act of making art, so much as I create an artistic experience that leaves an artifact.Featured Work

Freak When See
Plywood, Acrylic
2016
Metapainting over the waveform of a portion of the song "Flight of the Bumblebee" by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov. This piece contains artwork from 72 participants created over 4 days. It is also highly black light reactive and was attacked by a raging hallucinating "artist" on its rear panel. The rear panel is entitled " Breakdown." This painting has been displayed at 2 galleries in the state and is available for loan to schools and galleries an example of the Metapainting collaborative technique.
Playa Del Flago
Plywood, Acrylic
2015
Collaborative painting with 60 random participants created in a single weekend at the regional Burning Man officially sanctioned Burn, Playa Del Fuego. This particular piece represents a transition experiment in my crowd-sourced art technique, known as Metapainting, adding more color control. This work has been displayed in multiple galleries in the state and is available for loan to encourage expansion of the idea and method behind its creation.
