Artist's Statement

I love making sense of the nonsensical. With writing, I can take, for example, giants, 1994 Baltimore, first love, first sex, and baseball, and try to tie them all together into something that I hope makes the reader sit up and say, yes, that's how it feels for me, too. With my writing, I hope that I am making sense out of what might otherwise be chaos. I try, only, to make some kind of beauty out of that which appears at first glance to be unrelated.
