I create theatre that incorporates poetry, movement, and song. I use games and metaphors to create worlds where Black Womxn can move through traumas in sisterhood. I center Black girls & womxn, queer sexuality, and African ancestral wisdom-sankofa-in my storytelling in response to the continual dehumanization of Black women globally. I am developing my first solo show, Rock, Paper, Scissors which explores my journey in becoming a whole and healed Black Bisexual Woman. Through the process of its creation, I share pieces with ensembles of actors and Black communities globally because I value community influence to shape my work.Arts in Education
