About the Artist
Currently listed in Who's Who in American Art for the past 20 years. I have exhibited widely across the United States and my work is included in both private and corporate collections. I teach workshops on the Business of Art, Experimental Water Media, Hand-pulled Monotypes, and Experimental Collage. I was founder and director of Archway Gallery in Houston Texas, Gallery curator for the Barrington Area Arts Council, and a member of the Houston Art Dealers Association.Artist's Statement
Current works are a combination of mixed media monotypes with enhancements of found objects, handmade papers, elements of collage, and painting with watercolor, acrylic and colored pencil.The images are creative interpretations from life experience and travel. Image derived from imaginative maya glyphs, factual interior murals from painted temple at Tulum, remnants of salvaged paintings (mine), and stone (not from the temple site). Handmade paper, collage, monotype with pure pigments, colored pencil, and gold metallic.

Monotype using pure pigments in Createx medium on oriental paper, floated on a handmade paper background. This was embellished with powdered metallics, colored pencil and pastel.
