About the Artist
Steven currently serves as the Executive Director for the Columbia Center for Theatrical Arts. He was a theatre teacher and school admin for 18 years. Beyond directing for school productions, he has also directed and stage managed productions for Toby's Dinner Theatre and the Columbia Center for Theatrical Arts. In 2016 he directed a production of Next to Normal with Silhouette Stages that was acknowledged with the Ruby Griffith Award for Outstanding Achievement in a Musical. Most recently he directed a stage reading of a new musical, Joy Comes in the Mourning. He enjoys teaching workshops on directing, acting, and devising new works.
