About the Artist
Stevie Oliver (she/her) is an artist residing in Baltimore with her husband and 3 young daughters. As a professional photographer for over 15 years she recently retired to focus on family life, homeschooling and nurturing a new artistic vision.
As an extension of her photography, Stevie uses cyanotype printing and hand stitching to express her vision. She collects and presses flowers and other found objects incorporating them with lunar and natural elements to create whimsical scenes. Treating paper or fabric with cyanotype chemicals, she arranges each piece by hand before exposing to UV light.
